The report reaching InsightMedia from Uyo, Akwa Ibom State capital has it that the state deputy governor, Pa Moses Ekpo has resigned from the government of the State.
Ekpo is a strong ally of the Senate minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio who is expected to join the All Progressives Congress in Wednesday.
Ekpo’s name is on the list of those expected to join Akpabio to the APC in Wednesday.
The official communication from the state government has not been released but an insider from the inner caucus of the PDP confirmed the development to InsightMedia.
