Dr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi has been declared the running mate to the All Progressives Congress candidate, Alh Isiaka Gboyega Oyetola for the next month governorship election in Osun State.
Alabi, a human resource manager, was among those who showed interest in the party’s ticket and contested in the last primaries of the party.
Speaking with InsightMedia on telephone, Alabi’s media aide, Suleiman Afeez Oyinmomo confirmed the development and urged the electorates to support the ticket of his principal and Alh Oyetola.
He said, “Yes. Dr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi has been chosen as the running mate to Alh Gboyega Oyetola.
“We thank God for this and we sincerely appreciate the support of the leadership of our great party, the APC.”
Alabi hails from Ikire in Irewole local government area in Osun West senatorial district.
