Reports from the National Assembly have it that the leadership of the two legislative chambers will not reconvene on Tuesday, August 14, as earlier reported by InsightMedia and other media outlets.
This latest development is contrary the announcement made by the Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Rt Hon Lasun Yussuff last week.
The Spokesman of the House of Representative, Abdulrazak Namdas, made this known on Monday, August 13.
It was gathered that Namdas noted that the House is yet to decide on a reconvening date.
The deputy speaker had last week announced that the National Assembly would reconvene on Tuesday to consider the budget for the 2019 polls and other pending issues forwarded to lawmakers by President Buhari in July.
