The Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Mr Benedict Alabi had charged the Online Media Practitioners in Osun State to always put the interest of the state at heart by confirming the authenticity of reports before disseminating it to the public.
Mr Alabi stated this on Thursday when he received members of the association who paid courtesy visit to him in his office in Osogbo.
He commended the group for coming together and enjoined them to put professionalism in their reportage.
He added that “the state government of today has a very good intentions for the people who elected us and we will not hide anything from the public”.
The Deputy Governor reiterated the determination of the administration of Gboyega Oyetola to improve the living standard of Osun people by making social amenities available to all and sundry.
The team was led by Amina Alake and has seven other members on board.
