Kuta; an ancient Owu Kingdom requires no introduction as it’s the talk of the Century by People of timbers and calibers that are capable of making Impossibility a Reality.
This, on its part always give me joy whenever I move my pen to write about the Land.
The land was blessed with Great Past Heroes who have on their different chosen fields did everything possible in their capacities for the name to come into limelight.
Because the Lord so Love us and he never wanted the labour of our Heroes to be in vain, then he blessed us again with current Leaders with updated criteria for Community Development.
MAKAMA
A Unique tag of many meanings, brave beyond explanation, determined beyond quitting, connected above limit, rising with solid foundation that will never fall, Olowu of Owu Kuta tuntun himself. Akoni meje ti won n pe lenikan soso, known by Few, heard by many. Okunrin takuntakun lojo Gbogbo.
This piece is not mainly focus to list your countless achievements as a King, neither does it focus majorly on how you are so solid in making Kuta Great agenda but to appreciate your giant strides so far, as one of us who have willingly volunteered himself for the land to be at her peak!
We keep understanding and exposing to the true meaning of your usual phrase Kuta tun tun since 2012 that you’ve been installed as Olowu of Kuta.
Should I talk about your wisdom just like Prophet Sulaiman to settle the grudges among Prince immediately after your installation which till today have brought the four Royal Houses together as One and directly brought peace to the Community.
The pride and recognition to Kuta as the Chairman of Owu Council of Obas and Chiefs which cut across the whole federation and beyond.
What about your Personal relation with People at the helm of affairs that has brought countless number of achievements to the land.
The Road Construction, Solar light installation, water and farm settlement that has been established in the Community.
We have the first Modern with National Standard Palace during your tenure.
We keep having countless number of our Sons joining Nigeria Army every year with your personal relation with Men of Nigeria Force.
What about our Political and career achievements?
The Chairman of the Local Government, Secretary to the Local Government, member House of Representatives and many More Political Appointments from our Domain.
We are so blessed to have you as our Monarch Sir.
Kuta-Ikoyi-Ede Road is an aged Obstacle facing the physical expansion of Kuta, recognition of Ikoyi and Economic improvement of Ede.
Suggestion, contribution, consultation have been made without any positive outcome.
Hmmm! Makama is breaking the the bondage because the Nigeria Army just took over the Construction of the Bridge through Oba Abdul-Hammed Adekunle Oyelude (Tegbosun Eleketa) personal relation with the Chief of Army Staff Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai. We can’t appreciate You enough Sir.
Though, I am not surprised personally about your giant strides and neither does it surprise me that you are going this far; the only bothered point is the speed at which these developments are coming in.
Yes! The Secret to that remain a Mystery because Kuta is a Community fully known by me and You. A land that is only love by Aged. Settlement without Youth Participation. Ilu konko jabele ti onikaluku ti n se tire.
Sir, where are the strength coming from? Aren’t You discourage? Are you not tired of doing it alone or with very few same set of fathers that have been with Kuta before our Birth.
What about the Capital, where is the Isakole coming from? been diabolical, the misery, the treat, been micro and other pathetic declining factors are enough to weak any developmental mind.
For you not discourage, still firm and solidified for more Progress even with lacking of community advancement tools, then the MONARCH IN YOU IS FAR BEYOND OTHERS!
