Trajedy struck on the campus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State on Saturday as a 300 Level Microbiology student, slumped and died while playing football with his colleagues.
The incident happened during a Freshers vs Stalites match.
The late student who was identified as Korede Kayode Omotola, was subsequently rushed to the Health Centre where he was confirmed dead.
