It was a mild drama at an Anglican Church in Kenya during the weekend as an estranged wife stormed church with family and friends all armed with knives, machete and other dangerous weapons to stop the wedding of his husband.
The incident occurred at St James Cathedral in Kiambu town in the southern part of the country.
According to local media in Kenya, the groom, through had divorced in terms but their divorce case has not been ruled upon by the court.
The bride of the day has also hired security agents after she learnt that her husband’s ex-wife was coming to disrupt the weeding.
Journalists who attempted to cover the drama also sustained minor injuries.
However, despite the challenges, the weeding still went ahead as journalists and the hoodlums were kicked outside the gate.
