Residents of Epe on Tuesday attacked the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission who came to search the residence of former Lagos Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode in the area.

After a set of young lawyers reportedly monitored the search, some residents of the area gathered to stone the anti-graft agency while leaving the area.

The EFCC has also confirmed that its men were attacked by hoodlums in Epe.
