Barely a week after resuming in Ogun, IGP redeploys Imohimi

Barely a week after he was redeployed to Ogun State as the Commissioner of Police, the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has transferred Edgal Imohimi to Akwa Ibom State.

Consequently, the Akwa Ibom police commissioner, Kenneth Ebrimson, is to assume duty in Ogun State to replace Imohimi in what looks like a direct exchange of baton.

This was contained in a police signal from the office of the Nigeria Police Force, on behalf of the Inspector General and dated November 22.

According to the signal, copy of which was made available to DAILY POST, the posting, as ordered by the Inspector General of Police, is with immediate effect.
