The Nigerian for Buhari Again has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari over the affirmation of his elections by the Supreme Court, describing it as a triumph for democracy.
The group in a message by its National Coordinator, Dr Olayinka Ayinde on Wednesday in Abuja, described the verdict of the Apex as road clearing for unprecedented development in the country.
According to the statement, the legal battle since its inception has contributed nothing but distraction to the development of the country and the verdict of the Court has put an end to it.
Ayinde advised the opposition to be civil and take the verdict as the affirmation of the wish of the teaming Nigerians who trooped out en mass to vote President Buhari on February 23.
“The verdict has put an end to the distractions that tend to disturb the delivery of the dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of Nigerians. We wish to tell the opposition People’s Democratic Party to remain civil and take the verdict as the affirmation of the wish of Nigerians as expressed on February 23, 2019.
“As we congratulate our principal, President Muhammadu Buhari, we also assure Nigerians that the Next Level Cabinet will work hard to ensure that we get a Nigeria we all desired,” the group said.
