Dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi on Thursday afternoon received the Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasiru El-Rufai in Awe in Nasarawa State.
It was gathered from security sources that the Governor left Kaduna on Thursday morning to visit Sanusi.
Effort to confirm from the Governor’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Musa proved abortive as his phones were unreachable.
The source also said he could not confirm when El-Rufai will be back in the state.
However, it could be recalled that El-Rufai recently appointed the deposed Emir as the Chancellor of the Kaduna State University (KASU), less than 24 hours after he made him (Sanusi) the Vice Chairman of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency.
