The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Osun State chapter on Tuesday officially welcome former chairman of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Dr Bayo Faforiji and other members of the SDP into the party.
The defectors were received by the acting Chairman, Elder Sunday Akanfe alongside some other State Working Committee members.
Speaking on behalf of the defectors Faforiji promised their loyalty to the PDP in tandem with the Party’s vision to bring about economic peace and prosperity to Osun state.
Welcoming the former SDP chieftains on Tuesday, the Osun state acting Chairman,, Elder Akanfe assured them of his commitment to working with all organs of PDP in the state under all sensible nomenclature to see to the rescue of the state from the hands of political vultures Currently devouring it.
The Chairman promised to elaborately receive the SDP faithful in Osun state after Covid-19 pandemic in the country.
Members of the State Working Committee, Local Government Chairmen of party, State Officers of SDP led by Hon Bayo Faforiji were present at the meeting.
