The Special Anti-robbery Squad popularly known as SARS have been causing pandemonium in Nigeria with several cases of extortion of money, killing of the youth in the country few years back till date. This so called SARS officers has wasted many lives for years but with the higher cases of murder caused by these officer has brought about protest in the country because the government are not showing its concern on the issue.
It is a crime when you live a luxurious life as a young man in the country because these are the reasons why these officers have been wasting lives and extorting money because they believe everyone is an internet fraudster.
The killing rised again few weeks ago which triggered the youth to bring up the idea of protesting against these Killers in Uniform (SARS), the protest started in Lagos which was led by the Nigerian Singers Runtown and ‘Falz’ while other celebrities and youths join them in the process on the 8th of October 2020.

Earlier today, youths in Osogbo also storm the street to protest against SARS in Osogbo it started at the popular Olaiya Junction in Osogbo move down to dada Estate police division, Oke Baale, Iludun, Ota- efun police division before terminating the protest at the police headquarter.
It could be recalled that some unidentified men of Joint Task Force chases a young man to death some weeks back in Osogbo.
In her reaction, the Police Public Relations Officer in Osun, Sp Yemisi Opalola said the police authority at the highest level is looking into the issue of SARS and it would be attended to with immediate effect.
While condemning violence act oo some Officers in Ile Ife, the spokesperson enjoined protesters to be calm and maintain peace during the protest because some of the protesters are destroying people’s properties which is uncalled for.
However, she also advised the protesters to be vigilant and extra careful of some hoodlums who came to the protest for their evil and horrendous acts.
“All protesters should take things easy and protest peacefully without any violence”, the Police PRO said.
