Joe Biden has won the 2020 Presidential election in the United States of America.
The 78-year-old Democrat candidate defeated the incumbent and candidate of the Republican, Donald in a keenly contested election.
CNN reports that Biden has secured 273 electoral college votes against Trump’s 214. Winner is expected to have 270 ECV.
Trump has vowed to contest the elections at the Supreme Court, alleging that it was rigged against him.
Biden becomes the 46th president of the United States.
