Kaduna residents to pay mandatory N1000 development fee

Residents and citizens of Kaduna State have been mandated to pay a sum of 1000 naira as development fee by the state government.

The state internal revenue service made this known on its social media platforms on Wednesday.

The agency said the payment is a compulsory one for everyone who have clocked 18 years of age.

The agency wrote, “Payment of Development Levy is compulsory, citizens of Kaduna State from 18 years and above are entitled to pay their development Levy into Kaduna State Revenue Accounts, it’s your civic responsibility to pay your N1,000 as Development Levy.”
