The Osun Amotekun Corps on Tuesday arrested one Ayomide Akande, 22 years, a bricklayer who came from Ijebu Ode to work in Osogbo and one Abdullahi, 23 years, an hausa man who resides at BCGA road Ajegunle, Osogbo, for stealing generator valued over #250,000.
It was gathered Akande was invited to work as a bricklayer at the back of Galaxy Hotel located on ring road, Osogbo, when he saw the generator of one of the neighbor living in the area and arranged to steal it.
The owner of the generator was identified as Miss Henriye Oluwafunmilola, a student of Osun State University, Osogbo Campus.
Akande stoled the generator and sold it in the sum of #5000 to one hausa man Abdullahi who resides at BCGA area Ajegunle Osogbo,
Having discovered the loss of the generator by the owner and neighbors they went into the house of Akande where he was interrogated by the neighbors on the loss of the generator but he declined that he didn’t steal the it.

The residents of the area invited the Amotekun Corps into the case where they swift into action to discovered the circumstances surrounding the stealing of the generator, after much interrogation Akande confessed to the crime and he took Amotekun personnel to where he sold the generator and the generator was recovered inside dilapidated building where it was hide.
The duo has been handed over to the Director of State Security Service (DSS) for further investigation and prosecution.
