The Osun Online Media Practitioners Association (OOMPA) has elected its new Executives on Thursday, February 10, 2022, to oversee the Online Practitioners’ operations for the next two years.
The election which held through Online voting, commenced exactly 12noon.
Insight Multi-Links Media publisher, Jare Tiamiyu has been re-elected as Chairman of OOMPA for his second term.
The chairman of the OOMPA Electoral Committee, Sola Isola, dropped his remarked when announcing the election results.
Here’s his statement below;
“With this development, and using the authority granted to me as Chairman of the OOMPA Electoral Committee, I hereby declare Jare Tiamiyu, Abioye Lawrence, Ismail Kolapo, Yusuff Abass, Bright Olorungbotemi, and Akanji Fatai as the new executive of the Osun Online Media Practitioner Association, having received the most votes in their respective offices.
The election was widely accepted by all members as free, fair and credible.
The first Chairman of OOMPA was Ayobami Agboola, Publisher of City Mirror followed by Adesoji OMOSEBI, the Publisher of SOJ worldwide news.

Another years for a collective uplift

“Today, I’m reelected to again serve another two years as the Chairman of the Osun Online Media Practitioners Association. This definitely signals another movement towards consolidating on our past gains and achievements as a group.
I want to sincerely appreciate all my colleagues, who believe that I still remain the best to carry on as the Chairman of this association again. Our achievements in the last two years will be consolidated upon and I promise you more dividends. I want to inform you that it’s time to collectively build individuals and uplift our works and I accept the responsibility to lead once more.
