Information has emerged that some of the abducted passengers of Kaduna-Abuja train that was attacked by terrorists, have regained their freedom.
A relative of two of the victims confirmed the release of his persons on Wednesday.
“Alhamdulillah my mum and elder sister have just being released at the moment in a medical facilities receiving medication in Kaduna.
“Thank you for your prayers,” Yusuf Atta, whose relations were among the abducted passengers, said excitedly in a Whatsapp group chat today, Wednesday, June 08, 2022.
It is however not yet clear if it is all the passengers regained their freedom and if ransom was paid to secure their release.
Samuel Aruwa, Kaduna State Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, is yet to respond to inquiries sent to his Whatsapp number. (News )
