Jadon Sancho has reportedly been removed from the WhatsApp group that Erik ten Hag uses to communicate with Manchester United players.
The Dutch coach at Old Trafford uses the group in question to send out important information to first-team players. In a move which further highlights how far out of favour Sancho has fallen at Old Trafford, the England international is no longer considered to be part of the Red Devils’ immediate plans.
According to The Sun, the 23-year-old winger has been axed from the messaging service run by his manager. Sancho has already been exiled from training by Ten Hag, with the former Borussia Dortmund star having to use the academy facilities at Carrington.
Sancho has not figured for United since August 26, with the talented forward initially being dropped for a trip to Arsenal in September as his application in training was called into question. He responded to criticism of his supposed lack of effort by claiming to have been made a “scapegoat” in Manchester.
Ten Hag has refused to absorb Sancho back into the fold since then, as he waits on an apology that has not been forthcoming, with the expectation being that a deal will be done in the January transfer window that allows all parties concerned to move in different directions
