The Three Good Hearts Foundation, in conjunction with the African Craft Shop, on Tuesday distributed school bags to all the students in Community Primary School, Masifa-Ile, a rural community in Ejigbo local government area of Osun State.
The foundation, which was founded by Oguntolu Ifatoki Akinlana, Adebayo Muritala and Abdulrasheed Sani, provided the students with these bags as part of their ongoing efforts to support education and improve the welfare of young students at the grassroots.
Foremost activist, Comrade Amitolu Shittu who represented Oguntola Akinlana, the Balogun Sango of USA, praised the efforts of the founders of the organization for deeming of fit to ease learning process and promote the cultural heritage of Yoruba.
He said “I want to thank the three good hearts foundation for this great work and for recognizing the need to always take care of our future which are these students. I also want to encourage our parents to take good care of the needs of their children and always encourage them to be in their best version”.
One of the founders of the foundation, Mr Adebayo Muritala while speaking said the motive of the project is to give back to the community. He said “The idea of this is to help the less privileged in our community as I am also one of them, so giving back to the community is our main goal when we embarked on this project.”
Adebayo also urged the well to do in the society to ensure they give back to the “society as that is the only way we can grow as a nation.”
The headmistress of the school Mrs Faleke while speaking to Insight Media expressed her gratitude to the foundation for their constant kind gestures towards the school at all times.
“I want to thank them for always coming and gifting the students. They came here last term and gave them books, textbooks, writing materials, sandals and even money and all these have motivated the student as it has eased the learning process with the provision of study materials and even motivate others to come to the school”.
