The Osun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism has commended all stakeholders for their commitment towards a successful hosting of the 2024 Osun Osogbo festival.
The Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Hon. Abiodun Fafa-Ojo said the ministry is proud to be involved in different activities that culminated in a colourful celebration of the richness of Osun culture and heritage.
InsightMedia gathered that the State government was involved in providing supports for cultural performance and exhibitions.
The ministry also organized a tour for visitors to explore Osogbo’s cultural attractions and “this helped in boosting the economy and permanently ingrained the rich heritage of our State in the minds of visitors.”
The final programme on Friday commenced with a procession to the Osun Osogbo Sacred Groove where traditional rites and prayers were offered for Osun State and Nigeria.
