Adeleke University’s administration has dismissed circulating rumors of a 100-level male student’s alleged rape and murder by 500-level male students.

 

According to the statement signed by the School’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Solomon Adebola on Friday, condemned the false information, originating from unknown AU TV, as malicious and misleading.

 

The statement read, “As a faith-based institution, Adeleke University reaffirmed its commitment to safeguarding students against sexual harassment, exploitation, and perversion.

 

“This baseless news aims to tarnish our reputation.

 

The Vice chancellor reiterated that the school prioritize the students’ well-being, safety, and security.”

 

However, The university warned the perpetrators to cease spreading misinformation and announced plans to hold them accountable, facing full legal consequences.
