Real Madrid wonderkid Endrick has reportedly emerged as a shock transfer target for Southampton, with the Brazilian forward mulling over his options.
The highly-rated youngster completed a move to Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2024 after turning 18. He headed to Spain aware that he would face fierce competition for places from the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo.
Endrick has registered two goals for the Blancos through 10 appearances, but is still waiting on a first La Liga start and has been restricted to just 54 minutes of game time in the Spanish top-flight. That has led to suggestions that he could be sent out on loan.
Premier League teams, including Tottenham, are said to have asked about Endrick after seeing him make his way to Europe. According to SPORT, Southampton are now in the mix as they seek attacking inspiration in a relegation dogfight
It is also claimed that Roma, who now have Claudio Ranieri at the helm, would welcome the opportunity to hand the talented teenager minutes in Serie A. Real Valladolid are another option that would allow Endrick to remain in Spanish football.
No decision has been made as yet, with Endrick prepared to be patient. He is tied to a contract in Madrid through to 2030 and knows that his time there will come. A brief stint elsewhere may, however, help him to get into the goalscoring groove and speed up the process of proving his worth to parent employers.
