The Party Chairman of the Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, Hon. Sunday Bisi has called for unity and peace among all party leaders and members across the State.
The Party Chairman made this call during the annual party prayer held at the party secretariat on Monday in Osogbo.
He said, “I urge you all to continue embracing the spirit of unity, love, and cooperation that has brought us thus far. Let us work together to build a brighter future for ourselves, our children, and generations to come.
“As we pray for peace, prosperity, and guidance, let us remember to uphold the values of compassion, empathy, and kindness our great party is known for. As PDP ambassadors, let our actions be guided by the principles of justice, equality, and fairness.
“Now, as we step into the year 2025, I task our leaders and members to brace up for the intense activities ahead.
“This year promises to be a busy one, with local government elections on the horizon. We must campaign across every nook and cranny of our state, engaging with our people and sharing our vision, especially at the grassroots for a better Osun.
“Let us mobilize our grassroots support, strengthen our party structures, and ensure that our message of light over darkness resonates with every voter. We owe it to ourselves, our party, and the good people of Osun State to give it our all and ensure a resounding victory in the forthcoming elections.
Bisi also commended the State Governor Ademola Adeleke for his tireless efforts in reshaping the state.
“His commitment to infrastructure development, education, and human capital development is truly commendable. From constructing and rehabilitating roads to providing affordable and accessible healthcare in each of the 332 wards, prioritizing welfare of the public workforce….. etc, his administration has made incontrovertible strides and has made us proud”, he commended.
He also urged Governor Adeleke to remain focused on his vision for Osun State, shunning all unproductive distractions from opposition elements.
” We must remind ourselves that he defeated them in 2022 because they failed the people while in government. With his performance, I have no doubt that he will defeat them again in 2026″, he explained.
The Annual party prayers also had in attendance the former governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, the Deputy Governor of the State, Prince Kola Olawusi, the former party chairman, Akintunde Akindele, the speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, RT. Hon Adewale Egbedun, members of the House of Assembly, Commissioners, party leaders and members across all LGAs of the State.
