The drama between music executive Ubi Franklin and singer Spyro has sparked another controversy, as artist Joe El now accuses Franklin of owing him 10% from a previous show.
The conflict started on Wednesday when Franklin and Spyro argued over a $5,000 debt and a share of a deal.
Joe El, known for his striking resemblance to 2Baba, joined the fray by claiming Franklin ignored his request for his fair share after a profitable show in Jos, Plateau State.
Joe El pointed out that while Franklin was quick to demand his own 10%, he failed to honor the same commitment to him.
In a social media post, Joe El wrote, “You don’t joke with your 10%, but when I gave you and Iyanya a show worth millions in Jos, you ignored me and hung up. We’re watching some of you.”
As the drama unfolds, both Ubi Franklin and Spyro have shared private WhatsApp chats in a bid to settle the dispute.
