Pep Guardiola is reportedly set to leave his £8.5 million mansion in Barcelona following his unexpected separation from his wife, Cristina Serra.

The couple, who had been together for 30 years, are said to have decided to part ways, according to reports from Spain on Monday evening.

Guardiola, who shares three grown children with Cristina, has always stayed at their family home when visiting Barcelona from Manchester.

The luxurious property, worth £8.4 million, is located in one of the city’s most prestigious areas. However, it is unclear where he will stay when in Barcelona moving forward, as he typically resides in a Deansgate CitySuites apartment in central Manchester when not in Spain.

Cristina is expected to remain in the family home, which was previously owned by Guardiola’s former teammate, Mexican centre-back Rafa Márquez.

The couple purchased the four-storey mansion, set on more than 22,000 square feet of land, from a Russian businessman in February 2021 for €10 million (£8.4 million).

The property, which features a large swimming pool, is located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Barcelona, near the Carretera de les Aigues.
Cristina moved into the home in 2023 after returning to Barcelona, while Guardiola continued living in Manchester.

Spanish media outlets have noted the mansion’s secluded location, making it an ideal spot for privacy during the couple’s separation.

However, it was also reported that the family spent Christmas together at the home with their children—Maria, 24; Marius, 22; and Valentina, 17.

Meanwhile, Guardiola’s current residence in Manchester is in the Deansgate CitySuites, a 16-storey building featuring 237 apartments. The privately owned apartments offer spacious living areas and fully equipped kitchens.
