In an effort to alleviate the hardship faced by many Nigerians during these challenging times, the Aribisala Care Foundation, a prominent Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), distributed palliative items to residents of Oriade Local Government Area, Osun State. This initiative, part of the foundation’s welfare program, was aimed at providing relief to families struggling to make ends meet during the festive season.

The foundation, led by its founder and CEO, Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, an international tax consultant, brought joy to the people of Ijebu Ijesa and surrounding towns.

Over 30 bags of rice and Semovita were distributed to the local community, including both 10kg and 25kg bags, ensuring that a wide range of households could benefit from the gesture.

In the spirit of Christmas, the distribution took place at the Palace Hall of Oba Engr Moses Agunsoye, Elegboro of Ijebu Ijesa, with beneficiaries from various parts of the local government and surrounding areas. The community expressed immense gratitude for the kind gesture from the foundation, with many praising the organization for its unwavering commitment to supporting those in need.

Speaking during the welfare program via an online interview, Barrister Abiodun Aribisala, the initiator of the foundation, reiterated the core mission of the NGO to improve the lives of the aged, widows, and less privileged members of society. He emphasized that the foundation has no political affiliation and operates solely to bring positive change to the community.

In his address, Aribisala urged the beneficiaries to trust in God and cast their anxieties upon Him, particularly in light of the current state of affairs in Nigeria. He further emphasized the importance of collective responsibility, urging well-meaning Nigerians, including religious bodies, NGOs, and philanthropists, not to leave the welfare of the people solely to the government.

“The less privileged among us are God’s own, and it is our duty to care for them,” Aribisala said, highlighting the spiritual reward that comes from selfless acts of charity.

He also announced that this welfare program in Ijebu Ijesa is just the beginning, with plans to extend similar initiatives to other parts of Ijesa North. Aribisala called on all Nigerians to come together and restore hope to the needy in society.

The beneficiaries, overwhelmed with gratitude, erupted in songs of appreciation. One recipient shared, “Every year, you show us love and kindness. You are a true philanthropist, and we pray that God continues to bless you and your foundation abundantly.”

The Aribisala Care Foundation’s act of charity during the festive season has further solidified its reputation as a beacon of hope in Oriade and surrounding areas, making a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of the people.
