Popular musician, Asake, has finally addressed his bold new look and face tattoos.
The musician speaks with Billboard on the red carpet during the 67th Grammy Awards, the 30-year-old said “I love to feel comfortable with myself”.
“This is how I feel now. I love to feel comfortable in myself, in the things that I feel is good for me, not even about anybody. I might wake up tomorrow and you guys may not see any tattoo in my face,” he said.
The 67th Grammy Award was held on Sunday in Los Angeles which was Asake’s first.
The singer was nominated in the Best African Music Performance category which his compatriot, Tems, won for her song ‘Love Me Jeje’.
Explaining his outfit to his interviewers, Asake said he was in his “military era” and that he likes to dress exactly how he feels.
