Super Eagles’ head coach, Eric Chelle, has named an unchanged starting lineup for Nigeria’s upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Chelle, in his second match in charge, has opted to stick with the same starting XI that triumphed over Rwanda last Friday.

Victor Osimhen, who scored twice against Rwanda, will once again lead the attack. He will be joined by Ademola Lookman, who also delivered an impressive performance in the last match.

In defense, Stanley Nwabali retains his position as goalkeeper, while Ola Aina, William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, and Bright Osayi-Samuel make up the backline.

Wilfred Ndidi and Alex Iwobi continue their partnership in midfield, with Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon providing width.
