Music legend Innocent Idibia, better known as 2Baba, has recently introduced his fiancée, Natasha Osawaru, to his family and kinsmen in Benue State, igniting rumors of an upcoming wedding.

Viral videos captured the special moment when Natasha met with Idoma elders and traditional leaders. In one video, she is seen arriving at the event in a red and black Idoma traditional outfit, paired with a scarf, accompanied by 2Baba and his family.

The couple was warmly welcomed with a traditional dance as they entered the ceremony.

Entertainment blog Stella Dimoko Korkus reported that the couple’s traditional wedding was scheduled for Friday, April 25, 2025, in Benin City. However, this information could not be independently confirmed by Sunday Scoop and remains speculative.

Since their engagement, 2Baba and Natasha have become inseparable, often spotted shopping together, enjoying the nightlife, and attending events such as sessions at the Edo State House of Assembly. Their affectionate public appearances have kept fans excited and invested in their relationship.

Despite the joy surrounding their union, the couple’s romance has not been without controversy. 2Baba publicly declared his love for Natasha during a challenging period in his marriage to estranged wife Annie Macaulay, with whom he had spent nearly 12 years.

While many fans support the couple, there have been concerns, particularly regarding the absence of 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, from the introduction ceremony.

Rose had previously made headlines by calling for intervention in her son’s life, urging Natasha to “free” 2Baba from what she described as a difficult situation.

“This message is for Miss Natasha Osawaru of Edo State. I’m calling on all mothers in Nigeria to help me beg her to release my son,” Rose had stated publicly.

In the meantime, the couple’s social media pages have been flooded with congratulatory messages.

One fan, Jogger, welcomed Natasha, saying, “Benue State welcomes you. Our wife.” Another fan, Quinlogo, congratulated them on their wedding, humorously noting the absence of a pre-wedding shoot.

Fans have flooded the couple’s pages with well-wishes, including messages like “Congratulations dear; happy married life” and “We, the Amufu people, love you.”
