Popular Afrobeats superstar Davido has revealed that he and his wife, Chioma, are putting a pause on expanding their family.
Speaking on a recent episode of Ride Along With Darryl, the music star and father of five said they’ve agreed to take a break from childbearing to allow Chioma time to focus on her personal ambitions.
“I don’t want more children now. Me and my wife are taking a break,” Davido said. “She needs to get out to work. She wants to do a lot of things—like opening her restaurant and launching her line of spices. I feel she deserves a couple of years off after having three kids.”
The couple welcomed a set of twins—a boy and a girl—in 2023, a year after the tragic loss of their first son, Ifeanyi, who died in a swimming pool accident.
