Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq sends his condolences to His Royal Majesty the Olofa of Offa Kingdom Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi Esuwoye II on the passing of his darling mother, Alhaja Hawawu Awele Gbadamosi.

The king’s mother died yesterday, April 5, 2025, at the age of 94, according to the Olofa Palace.

Governor AbdulRazaq, in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary Rafiu Ajakaye yesterday, conveys the condolences of the people and government of the state to His Royal Majesty and the people of Offa on this development.

“Our heartfelt sympathies and prayers are with His Royal Majesty at this difficult moment. We urge His Royal Majesty to be comforted by the rare grace of Allaah on Alhaja for a fulfilling life, the joy of being a major chapter in the community’s story, and the happiness of seeing his children become success stories and also outliving her,” according to the Governor.

“We ask Allaah to ease her account, widen and lighten up her grave, and grant her al-jannah Firdaus.”
