Comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, known as Seyi Law, has expressed firm belief in President Bola Tinubu’s ability to lead Nigeria, saying no other politician is better suited for the job.
Appearing on the Teju Babyface Deep Dive podcast, Seyi Law, a vocal Tinubu supporter during the 2023 elections, dismissed the leadership potential of Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar.
“Without bias if Tinubu can’t fix Nigeria, no current politician can. Not Atiku, not Peter Obi. I’ve studied them,” he said.
He recalled debates with supporters of other candidates, citing controversies during Peter Obi’s time as Anambra governor.
“If a governor’s aide is caught with ₦200 million in cash and the governor defends it, would you still support him?” he asked.
Seyi Law also referenced former Governor Willie Obiano’s alleged claim that Obi requested ₦7.5 billion for political support. “People dismiss or accept claims based on bias. That’s not how truth works,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to move beyond emotional loyalty and scrutinize leaders based on facts.
