Media personality and Nollywood actress Toke Makinwa is making headlines again this time for her candid take on relationships and marriage.
On a recent episode of her podcast Toke Moments, the 40-year-old revealed she’s open to being in a polygamous marriage.
“In all honesty, at this point in my life, if I have the opportunity to be the second, third, fourth, or fifth wife, I will take it,” she said.
Makinwa opened up about the pressures of constantly leading in every area of her life from her career to daily decisions saying the weight of always being “the boss” can become overwhelming.
“Sometimes you just want someone else to take the lead. Even deciding what’s for dinner can feel like a lot. Must it always be me?” she added.
Toke was previously married to fitness coach Maje Ayida. The marriage, which began in 2014, ended in 2017 following a highly publicized split due to alleged infidelity.
