Nigerian music icon 2Face Idibia has finally addressed his mother’s recent claim that he was kidnapped. A few weeks ago, a video surfaced in which 2Face’s mother stated that he was missing and had been abducted.
Her comments created a stir, especially amid rumors of a potential divorce involving the singer.
During a comedy show hosted by Acapella, 2Face responded to the allegations with humor, joking about the situation. “Allegedly, I’ve been missing.
Allegedly, I’ve been kidnapped,” he said on stage. “So, this show is actually to raise money for the ransom so the kidnappers can release me.”
Despite the rumors, 2Face has been spotted in public multiple times since the report of his disappearance.
