On Thursday, members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) staged a protest, picketing the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development in Abuja.
The demonstration came after the ministry refused to abide by a court ruling that demanded the reinstatement of Comrade Victor Ekpaha, an employee wrongfully dismissed over 20 years ago.
The protesters are also calling for the full payment of Ekpaha’s unpaid salaries, allowances, and other benefits for the two decades his case remained unresolved.
