Afrobeats star Kingsley Okonkwo, better known as Kcee, has opened up about his past romance with Nollywood actress Ebube Nwagbo, revealing that the two were once very close to tying the knot.
In a revealing chat on the popular Tea With Tay podcast hosted by Temisan Emmanuel, Kcee spoke fondly, yet candidly, about their highly publicized relationship during the early days of his career.
“Scandals were happening even before social media,” Kcee recalled. “I was a young guy dating an actress of course, it made the news. I really liked actresses. Who didn’t at that time?”
Their relationship was once the talk of the town, lighting up headlines and red carpets. “I can’t list everyone I dated,” he said with a laugh, “but Ebube was everywhere with me. We were on the front pages constantly. We almost got married before it all ended.”
Where are they now?
Today, Kcee is married to Ijeoma, and they have two children together. Ebube Nwagbo, on the other hand, remains single but has been linked in the past to notable personalities such as Ogbonna Nwankwo, Emmanuel Emenike, and Ray Emordi.
