Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has publicly criticized fellow actress Eniola Badmus, labeling her a “zombie” after Badmus made a comment about Aiyeola’s hairline on social media.

In a video posted to Instagram on Thursday, Aiyeola expressed her disappointment over a remark Badmus left on one of her posts, which read: “Ope, where is your front hair?”

Calling the comment insensitive, Aiyeola reminded Badmus of her own past struggles with online body-shaming and questioned her decision to mock another woman’s appearance.

“You were once ridiculed and body-shamed online, and now you turn around to shame me? You’ve never shown me support—not a like, not a comment so why this?” Aiyeola asked.

She went on to criticize Badmus for equating beauty with physical appearance, calling her out for what she described as ignorance and lack of compassion.

“You look in the mirror and think beauty is skin-deep? You’ve just exposed who you really are to the world,” she said.

Aiyeola also pointed out the responsibility that comes with being a public figure, especially one involved in politics, stating, “Someone in your position should lead with empathy. Instead, you act without conscience like a zombie.”

Despite the online exchange, Aiyeola remained positive, thanking her supporters and affirming her self-worth.

“I am beautifully and wonderfully made. I love myself, hair or no hair. And I’m grateful to those who love me for who I am,” she said.

As of the time of this report, Eniola Badmus has not issued a response.
