Amobi Ogah, the Labour Party member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency in Abia State, has dismissed his suspension by the Julius Abure-led faction of the party, describing it as a “non-issue.”

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Ogah reaffirmed his loyalty to Abia State Governor Alex Otti and downplayed the suspension as politically inconsequential.

“I want to make it clear that the so-called suspension means absolutely nothing to me,” Ogah said. “I am a mandate of the people, and my commitment to Governor Alex Otti and his transformational agenda in Abia remains unshakable.”

The Abure-led faction had announced the suspension of Ogah and other members over alleged anti-party activities. However, Ogah appeared unfazed, lauding Governor Otti’s performance. “Governor Alex Otti is the best thing that has happened to Abia State in decades. I am with him, full time,” he declared.

Ogah also called for calm among his constituents, assuring them that his focus remains on delivering quality representation. “No amount of intimidation can stop the will of the people,” he added.
