Youths in Anambra State warmly welcomed President Bola Tinubu on Thursday, praising him during his visit to commission several key projects initiated by Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration.
As the President concluded his address, a group of young attendees broke into chants in Pidgin English, declaring, “Na our papa be dis o, we no get another papa,” in a show of support and affection, referring to Tinubu as their father, a symbolic acknowledgment of his role as a national leader.
Responding to their cheers, President Tinubu said, “Thank you, God bless you.”
During the visit, Tinubu commissioned several major projects, including the Emeka Anyaoku Centre at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, the newly constructed Government House, the Solution Fun City, and the expansive 8-lane Aroma-Government House Boulevard in Awka.

Commending Governor Soludo, Tinubu described him as a “friend” and “visionary leader,” adding:
“Soludo is delivering real solutions—through infrastructure development and inclusive governance. This is what democracy is about: prosperity, environmental responsibility, and institutional growth.”
He continued, “Well done, Mr. Governor, for exemplifying quality governance in Anambra. You are charting a course for 21st-century development and showing what it means to be a solution provider. Together, we can build Nigeria’s future through technology, investment, and strong leadership.”
