Leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) met privately with officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abuja on Tuesday.
The closed-door session was held as the PDP gears up for its upcoming National Executive Committee meeting.
The discussions took place immediately after a joint press briefing at the INEC headquarters.
Although details remain undisclosed, the meeting reportedly focused on internal party matters, preparations for forthcoming elections, and the status of the PDP’s leadership structure.
Key participants included PDP’s acting National Chairman Umar Damagum, INEC Chairman Professor Mahmood Yakubu, several PDP governors, senior INEC representatives, and other prominent stakeholders.
