Popular Nigerian media personality and television host, Frank Edoho, has announced the end of his second marriage.
Edoho, known for hosting the long-running game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, disclosed the development during a recent episode of the Tea With Tay podcast. He revealed that his union with his second wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya, has ended years after his first marriage to Katherine Obiang collapsed in 2011.
Reflecting on his experiences, Edoho admitted he may not be suited for marriage despite putting in his best efforts.
“Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess. The two women I had been married to are not my soul mates,” he said. “The love of your life is different from your soul mate. The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love, but your soul mate is someone who understands you before you even speak, someone you naturally align with.”
He added that he made significant sacrifices in both marriages but acknowledged that love can fade sometimes without fault. To illustrate his point, he cited the example of former Brazilian football star Kaká, whose wife divorced him despite describing him as “too good.”
“I know that I went above and beyond for the two marriages. I carried my partner… I could abandon everything for her. But you can’t blame people for falling out of love,” Edoho said.
