Olayinka Fafoluyi, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Kwara State Governor, will be officially installed as the Akeweje of Aran-Orin by His Royal Majesty, Oba Joseph Oyeyipo Babalola, on Monday, June 9, 2025.

 

In an official statement signed by Fafoluyi on Wednesday, The installation ceremony will take place at the Primary School, Aran-Orin, located in Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State. Fafoluyi described the honour as one received with “utmost humility,” marking a milestone in his dedication to service and community development.

 

Coinciding with the traditional title installation, Fafoluyi will also commission a series of major community development projects, including A newly drilled borehole to improve water access, Installation of 32 solar-powered streetlights to enhance safety and nighttime visibility, The groundbreaking of the multimillion-naira AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq Corpers’ Lodge, a landmark facility set to support youth corps members posted to Aran-Orin.

 

He expressed deep gratitude to the Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and reaffirmed his commitment to contributing to the Governor’s development agenda.

“None of these would have been possible without the unwavering support and mentorship of His Excellency, whose investments in me have been immeasurable, May Kwara State continue to flourish under his exemplary and visionary leadership,” he added.
