Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen is set to be officially unveiled as a Galatasaray player this week, following the completion of a high-profile transfer from Napoli.
Turkish journalist Haluk Yürekli confirmed that the Turkish champions have reached an agreement with Napoli for a permanent deal worth €75 million. According to him, Galatasaray will pay €40 million upfront, while the remaining €35 million will be settled in two instalments under a bank guarantee.
“Galatasaray and Napoli have finalized terms for Osimhen’s transfer,” Yürekli revealed via habersarikirmizi. “The official announcement will be made within two to three days.”
Following Osimhen’s signing, Galatasaray is expected to shift focus to securing Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson. Talks have already taken place between Ederson’s representatives and club official Abdullah Kavukçu in Istanbul.
“The terms have been agreed upon,” Yürekli added. “Once the Osimhen deal is officially signed, Ederson’s transfer process will begin.”
Galatasaray are strengthening their squad ahead of the new season after clinching the Turkish Super Lig title.
