Tensions are beginning to simmer in the Big Brother Naija All Stars Season 10 house as housemate Kola opened up to fellow contestant Dede about his budding feelings.
In a private chat, Kola admitted that Dede is his “type” and confessed to being physically attracted to her. However, he was quick to clarify that it was still too early to describe his emotions as love or deep affection.
“You are actually my type,” Kola said. “That’s why I wanted to get to know you, talk to you and all. I’m not going to act like I’m not attracted to you. I am. But it’s Day 4, so I can’t say I like you yet. What I can say for sure is that you’re someone I want to know more.”
During the exchange, Kola accused Dede of being closer than expected to fellow housemate Jason Jae. Dede, however, dismissed the suggestion, insisting that her relationship with Jason is purely platonic.
She went on to make her position clear, revealing that she is in a committed relationship outside the house and not open to romantic entanglements on the show.
“I’m in a serious relationship outside the house, very committed and not open,” Dede said. “So if you say, ‘I respect that and want to be your friend,’ that’s fine. But if tomorrow you start catching feelings and expecting something in return, it won’t happen. By God’s grace, it will not happen.”
The exchange adds another layer of intrigue to the ongoing season as emotions and alliances begin to take shape within the house.
