Nollywood actress, Jemima Osunde, has cautioned young women against nurturing an entitlement mentality towards men’s wealth, stressing that relying solely on rich partners is unrealistic in today’s economy.

Osunde, in a post shared on her X handle, questioned why some ladies dream only of marrying into wealth instead of striving to earn their own money.

She noted that the idea of every woman becoming a rich housewife is impractical, given that the number of billionaires is limited.

Encouraging women to take responsibility for their future, Osunde urged them to channel their energy into productive work rather than waiting for a wealthy man to finance their lifestyle.

“Some of you say, ‘He should work hard for the money.’ But why can’t you also work? This is not Bible times. My dear, there aren’t enough billionaires for all of us to sit at home as housewives. Better go and find something to do,” she wrote.
