Super Eagles forward Victor Boniface is reportedly close to sealing a move to AC Milan from German champions Bayer Leverkusen.

According to Plettigoal, negotiations have reached an advanced stage, with both clubs and the player’s camp optimistic about striking a final agreement soon.

Boniface, 24, has emerged as a top transfer priority for Milan manager Massimiliano Allegri, who is eager to reinforce his attacking options following the departures of Álvaro Morata and Tammy Abraham in recent months.

Insight Media Sports Arena gathered that after productive talks with the striker’s representatives, Boniface has given his approval for the transfer to go ahead. Discussions between Milan and Leverkusen are now focused on reaching financial terms.

The Nigerian international had been on the brink of leaving Leverkusen earlier this year, with a move to Al Nassr in Saudi Arabia collapsing at the last minute.

If completed, the switch would mark a major step in Boniface’s career, as he prepares to lead the line for one of Europe’s most historic clubs.
