Former Ekiti State governor and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ayodele Fayose, has said the achievements of Governor Biodun Oyebanji will render false prophecies and predictions irrelevant ahead of the next governorship election in the state.
In a statement released on Thursday, Fayose argued that Oyebanji’s record of performance would speak louder than so-called “psychological prophecies” and baseless predictions.
According to him, Ekiti people are more concerned with good governance than with prophecies lacking substance or credibility.
Fayose stated that “In Ekiti State’s political landscape, one thing is clear: Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s re-election is a foregone conclusion because of his impressive track record and the people’s confidence in his leadership. The people have already spoken through their actions.”
He explained furth that Oyebanji’s leadership style has attracted broad support that cuts across party lines, stressing that his commitment to the development of Ekiti State remains evident.
“As the state prepares for its next phase of growth, it is Oyebanji’s performance that will be remembered, not empty predictions,” Fayose added.
