The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has hailed a ruling of the Federal High Court which barred former Senate President, David Mark, ex-Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola and others from presenting themselves as members of the party’s national executive.

According to a statement issued by its Director of Media and Public Affairs, Dr. Christopher Okechukwu, the ADC described the judgment as a vindication of its stand on the legitimacy of its leadership. He noted that the ruling reinforces the party’s resolve to restore what it called the “authentic glory” of the ADC.

Okechukwu further invited political leaders and Nigerians from all sectors to join the party, assuring that membership registration will soon be simplified and accessible nationwide.

The party also appealed to its coalition partners to rally behind the leadership of Hon. Nafiu Bala, who it recognised as the National Chairman, stressing that unity and collective effort remain essential for building a stronger and inclusive Nigeria.
