The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board has announced that the list of candidates shortlisted for physical screening and document verification in its ongoing recruitment exercise will be published beginning December 1.

In a statement issued on Friday, the board’s Secretary, Abdulmalik Jubril, urged applicants to log onto the recruitment portal, recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, between December 1 and December 3 to confirm their shortlist status.

He added, “Applicants who performed well have been shortlisted on merit and are advised to visit, www.recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from Monday to Wednesday to select their preferred screening venue and date.”

According to the News Agency of Nigeria, the recruitment exercise currently involves the CDCFIB, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Federal Fire Service, the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Jubril stated that the screening for successful applicants is scheduled to take place between Dec. 8 and Dec. 12, 2025, across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

He further cautioned applicants to rely solely on official information from the board’s portal, saying, “Kindly note that official communication with respect to the next stage of the exercise shall be only through the board’s portal.

“Applicants are advised to disregard any communication through email or other channels,” he said.

Jubril congratulated candidates who made the list and reaffirmed that the recruitment process adhered to the Federal Character principle and the manpower needs of the various services.
